Weather mirroring mood

It's a dreary fall day. The sky is cloudy, it's cold, and there was some rain drizzle this morning. Naturally, I'm awash in hormones that reflect the weather. But I'm fighting! I'm fighting! I've been doing some housework, which already is becoming a Herculean effort. I managed to drag the vacuum cleaner up the stairs (three levels, thank you very much). I finally got the thing in my room on the top floor and shouted "I am invincible!" I don't remember which James Bond movie that was (my buddy bondo_ba could tell us).

And dude, it's Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan. but of course, I grew up in the Roger Moore era. I didn't find out until college that Sean Connery was "the first" James Bond. But we could talk Bond history until we are blue in the face. Die hard Bond fans, talk amongst yourselves!

Okay, back to the blog. Where was I? Oh yeah, dreary. I'm suddenly craving blueberry muffins. Last night my hubby got me by mentioning going to a local coffee hut, and I began craving a white chocolate cranberry latte. Funny how that happens. My hubby is the kind of guy who can mention, in passing, some obscure song. Five minutes later, I catch myself thinking of that song over and over, unable to escape its grip, while my hubby laughs at me. Now, he gets me with cravings. He'll mention food in a conversation that has nothing to do with food as a primary topic, and then...

But hey. Pregnancy for you. Last week my son went with a friend and his mother to see Igor. He apparently told everyone in earshot in the theater that Mommy was having a baby. I don't know what kind of looks the friend's mom got, but I bet she had some explaining to do!

Hope everyone has a good day! I'm on the search for something with blueberries in it!
